BESIDES (PL): One of the great names in the excellent scene of Polish post-rock. This quartet came to be in 2011 and quickly rose to the highest level, winning a talent show on national television. While playing classic post-rock in the honored tradition of Mono and Caspian, Besides manage to give their music a modern touch by means of strategic piano and samples, creating a soundscape that takes the audience to a different world. After their packed show at De Kleine Kunst in 2019, their new album “Bystanders” focuses on the horros of Auschwitz and how even in darkness, there is light.

ATOMIC VULTURE (BE): three stoned astronauts take us on a cosmic trip through space.
