An Acoustic Evening with Mick Moss & Vic Anselmo

Antimatter, a UK melancholic rock band, is the project of longtime member Mick Moss. The project was formed in 1997 by Duncan Patterson (former bassist/songwriter of Anathema) and Moss. The earlier Antimatter albums, Savior and Lights Out, focused on melodic vocal lines (often by guest female vocalists). Planetary Confinement marked the start of a shift towards more of an acoustic based melancholic rock sound. Leaving Eden, with Mick Moss as the only songwriter and singer, continues in this direction and also gives electric guitars a more prominent role. The result is a heavier sounding album, with little trace of the ambient sound of early Antimatter. Recent album Fear Of A Unique Identity presents a more layered, energetic picture, mixing all of Antimatter’s past textures with a New Wave feel.
Vic Ansalmo will extend the Antimatter set with some own work!

We are thrilled to announce Church of Ra will bring an acoustic show with Mathieu VDK, Lennart Bossu, CHVE in the line-up in the Sint-Autbertus Church.
Amenra’s members are part of an music/art collective known as the Church of Ra. Like the Egyptian god, Amen Ra has many artistical aspects. While creating an overwhelmingly heavy sound they have an acoustic aspect which manifests itselfs most gloriously in their ep Amenra Afterlife. Syndrome’s ambient folk inspired soundscapes are a creation of Amenra’s guitar player Mathieu VDK. His last Now and Forever is more down tuned and atmospheric than ever. Ideal for the Sint-Autbertus Church. C H van Eeckhout has his own acoustic solo project, with songs rarely performed! Expect an intense and exclusive mix of Amenra (think Afterlife) / CHVE / Syndrome.
