NNC: Plainride + Astral Kompakt (DE)

No Name Collective and Den Drummer present:

Plainride (DE): For the second time around we may welcome this amazing band! Imagine a pack of rabid tumbleweeds sweeping across the hot desert sand of Mojave set on fire by the nearby explosion of a Dodge Challenger ‘69 driven into a fuel soaked pile of Orange Half-Stacks by four whole-body bearded lumberjacks dressed in bearskin. Now what if we tell you said lumberjacks use guitar strings as dental floss and consider alligator-wrestling the most innocent part of their childhood? There you go. Shaking the earth like a ravaging hurricane and filling the skies with thundering riffs, PLAINRIDE practice what they consider one of the finest genres ever to emerge from the sacred ashes of the 70s. Veterans of Wacken, these festival dogs are ready to storm upon Den Drummer!

Astral Kompakt (DE): The Cologne power trio draws its inspiration from various genres, which makes instrumental stoner rock. Powerful with activated Fuzz, without detours into other spheres, but always earthy with a decent dose of Doom. Live it feels like an earthquake.
