Argonauta Fest w/ Splendidula, Unverkalt, Wizards of Wiznan

Argonauta Records in collaboration with No Name Collective proudly presents ARGONAUTA FEST with

*** SPLENDIDULA (BE) ***
Splendidula is an atmospheric sludge/doom collective from Belgium, formed in 2008. A cocktail of traditional doom and
blistering sludge, post-metal grooves and psychedelia drones. Big riffs meet pounding beats with atmospheric passages that will lead you into a wild, heavy and psychedelic wonderland. The bewitched chants by vocalist Kristien and the harsh screams from guitarist Dries create a unique vocal contrast.
After releasing their self-titled debut album in 2013, their acclaimed
second album Post Mortem was released in 2018 by Inverse Records from Finland and the Belgian Dust & Bones Records.
A worldwide record deal was inked with Italian powerhouse label Argonauta Records for the release of their third album Somnus early 2021. The album was mixed by Tim De Gieter at Much Luv Studio (Amenra, Brutus, Absent In Body) and mastered by Grammy Award winning engineer Alan Douches at West West Side Music (Chelsea Wolfe, Mastodon), and was very well received both by fans and (inter)national press. Somnus was also released in South America at the end of 2021 by Ruidoteka Records and received a repress in 2022, which was distributed by [PIAS].
This resulted in an impressive series of shows in Belgium and Europe, supporting bands such as Wiegedood, Psychonaut, Thurisaz, Alunah, Abysmal Grief etc., and performing at festivals such as Darken The Moon, Genk On Stage, Zingem Beeft & Feast of Fools.

*** UNVERKALT (GR/DE) ***
Originally hailing from Athens, Greece, Unverkalt is an artistic music project currently based in Berlin, Germany. Their raw and versatile vocals combined with influences rooted in post-metal, doom, and alternative scenes create a unique bond that makes Unverkalt stand out without being related to any specific music genre. Unverkalt’s
music is inspired by European cinema, art movements, and human experiences, embracing darkness and romanticism.
The debut album “L’Origine du Monde’’ was issued in November
2020 in collaboration with Vinylstore and received amazing reviews from all over the world. L’Origine du Monde made it in the list of the top 220 Greek metal albums since 1972 on Metal Hammer-Greece.
Shortly after the debut album’s release, Unverkalt entered the studio to record their second full-length studio album in Berlin, Germany. Unverkalt signed with the Italian label Argonauta Records for the release of the second full-length album “A Lump ofDeath: A Chaos Of Dead Lovers” that will be released on 20th of October 2023.
The album was mixed and mastered by CFN STUDIO and produced by Unverkalt.
Their next chapter shows clearly that the band acquires its own identity and has a complete vision of their musical direction.
Unverkalt have played gigs in many cities in Germany and Greece
and they are preparing to play at one of the most important festivals in Germany on September in one of the most historic
venues in SO36 in Berlin on the Peacecore Fest among some great bands from all over the world.

*** WIZARDS OF WIZNAN (CH) ***
is composed of five musicians who have played in various bands of the Valais metal and rock scene in Switzerland. Together, they offer you a set that is both nervous and soaring, alternating atmospheric atmospheres and heavier riffs. Some clear voices give way to an aggressive guttural vocal, supported by strong rhythms and a very efficient bass-drums combo.
It is in 2019 that Wizards of Wiznan emerges from Vegenand, a vanished locality once decimated by the black plague. After a first EP with Stonerdoom influences entitled “Experimental Brew” signed to MTAF Records and several remarkable concerts, Wizards of Wiznan found its new direction with the recording of a first album in 2022 and the admission of a new member.
Today the band officially announce their signing with Italian powerhouse ARGONAUTA Records and celebrate the moment by releasing their highly anticipated new single and videoclip for the song “Absolute Void”
