Belgian Post-Metal Night: Turpentine Valley, Ka’Una, Aufhebung

No Name Collective, Headache Music Agency and Jeugdhuis Asgaard proudly present:

An Evening of Belgian Post-Metal!

*** TURPENTINE VALLEY ***
Few followers of the Belgian post-metal scene will be unfamiliar with this trio of dark storytellers from Zulte. Simplicity, patience and pacing colliding with power, density and unrelenting volume: that’s how Turpentine Valley reduces its instrumental post-metal to purity, etching it to the soul of anyone open to it. No words, massive sound. Hitting it hard. Layered guitars. Growling bass. Allowing music to tell its story. With two albums out on Dunk!Records and a ton of stage experience (Dunk!Festival for example), you KNOW this will be goooood.

*** KA’UNA ***
A mesmerizing blend of post-rock and post-metal spawned from the minds of 4 lifelong friends (amongst which members of Thurisaz). Ka’una’s music delves into uncharted realms, transcending traditional metal norms, exploring atmospheric nuances and heartfelt emotions. The band crafts a sonic landscape that stretches far and wide and they blend influences from ambient, noise, psychedelic, and progressive music, where each layer adds depth and texture… Having rocked the stage of Dunk!Festival as well, it is no surprise that their debut album was also released on Dunk!Records. They can’t wait to present it to you!

*** AUFHEBUNG ***
Have you ever wondered how a small band like Aufhebung gets to support big international bands such as Inter Arma, Maybeshewill, Conjurer, Sylvaine, Halocraft and Syberia? Well, that’s because they’re GOOD. The Brussels-based band draws from contemporary acts in post-rock and doom metal, but also noise rock, hardcore and progressive music. It transforms these influences by injecting walloping arrangements, impactful contrasts, destabilizing rhythms and crushing noise into the canvas.
