In november 2013, the black plague returns to Ghent!… Streets will be covered with the skulls of its victims.

AZAGHAL was formed in 1995 by guitarist Narqath (who used to run Dragonthrone Productions, releasing demos from Satanic Warmaster, Wyrd, Azaghal and more) and drummer Kalma. After releasing some demos, 7″s and a 12″, the second album “Helvetin Yhdeksän Piiriä” was released in the year 2000, showing nine tracks of uncompromising and fast black terror metal which were a real attack in the face of the in that time upcoming keyboard ballet metal trend. The following albums continued on this path of destructive mayhem throughout the years, releasing albums on Avantgarde Music, Moribund Cult and Aftermath Music.

Now, BLACKDEATH might be a more obscure and unknown band for many. Even though they have been around since 1995 and their albums “Saturn sectorn”, “Fucking fullmoon foundation” and “Bottomless armageddon” gave them a cult following in the underground, their style was probably too harsh and too rotten for many. Later albums like “Vortex”, “Katharsis” and the new album “Phobos” show a more avantgarde kind of songwriting, yet they are in now way more accessible or less devoted to Satan. The typical intoxicating vocal style and strange rhythms and melodies might cause nausea, visions of death and possession of Satan. All the way from the hermetic lands of Leningrad, we proudly present Blackdeath!

GESTALTE presents their debut album “Ashes of the soul” on this tour. A true black metal revelation; not often has a new band debuted with such a strong album. 8 tracks of cold and tortured material, shaped in nocturnal and spiritual possessions at the plains of madness and insanity. Created out of anger… Pure traditional and melancholic black metal rituals and hatred, performed by five spirits drawing power from the void.
